Description

Ocoee River Overlook is one of the most unique cabins you will see and it is affordably priced!  You will need 4 wheel drive or All Wheel drive.  Ocoee River Overlook was designed to a small rustic barn type cabin will all of the modern conveniences such as wifi, satellite tv, hot tub and a great view as an added bonus.  The Ocoee river is just on the opposite side of the road from the driveway and you can see it meander through the mountains from the deck.  Inside the cabin you will experience a rustic motif but you will in no way be roughing it.  Most of the year you won't need the central heat and air as you can just let the fresh mountain flow through the screen doors.  Great for a couples romantic getaway or small family vacation as the upstairs bedroom sleeps 3 and has it own private exterior stairway.  Relax under the stars from the hot tub or the campfire pit.

Here is a guest's (Emily) comment which probably better than our description- “This place is PERFECT for a couple's getaway. The barn style cabin sits at the top of a hill surrounded by woods and overlooking the Ocoee. The front porch offers a beautiful view of the mountains. And the hot tub is perched on the mountain side with the same gorgeous view. The inside of the cabin is plenty spacious for two people. And while it does have central heat and air, we slept with the windows open (even in July) and enjoyed the mountain air and the all the sounds of nature. There is an upstairs bedroom and it has a separate entrance and no bathroom so you have to go outside to get back in to the restrooms. But again, if you are looking for a private mountain setting for a romantic weekend- this is your place. It's also super close to all of the Ocoee rafting centers. Last thing- you really do need 4-wheel drive to make it up the driveway. ” (Thanks Emily)

Great views in a cozy and rustic cabin! Less than 10mins from town and 20mins from BlueRidge. Bring smores and your bathing suit, the hot tub has a view! Bryan and his wife were really great and responsive leading up to the trip, they welcomed us warmly when we arrived to pickup our packet. The residence is great for about 5-6 person groups. They arent kidding when they say you need 4WD/AWD. Your Prius is not making it up this hill, dont try, it will be awkward when you have to ask someone to pull you out.

Awesome cabin. The place is kept immaculate and exceeded my expectations. The view is better than it looks in the pictures and there are lots of activities the area has to offer. Would do it again in a heartbeat. As mentioned, the need for 4wd is no joke!

Review #16639558 Great Value With A View! Hot Tub, Wifi, Fire Pit, Sleeps 5. 4wd Or Awd Necessary Very private cabin with beautiful views ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found the cabin to be beautifully situated atop a hill with unobstructed views of the adjoining Tocoaa River and surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. Though it was smaller than most, the cabin was charming and full of character. The kitchen was properly stocked with utensils, and the bed and bath were fitted with good linens. A strong winter storm blew through during our stay which resulted in 6" of snow and overnight lows in the single digits. The house was drafty, but their provided space heaters supplemented the main furnace and kept us sufficiently thawed. Unfortunately, the main water line froze on our last day and we lost water service, but it hard to blame the house when its that cold out. A 4x4 is definitely needed due to a steep driveway (appx 200 long gravel drive with angles ranging from 1

Great Value With A View! Hot Tub, Wifi, Fire Pit, Sleeps 5. 4wd Or Awd Necessary Wonderful Place to Call "Home" for a week! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is great, & cabin was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and loved the kitchen. Would definitely stay here time and time again. The only two negatives that we had were the bed (needs a new mattress) and it is drafty throughout cabin. Great correspondence from the property management. Please note they mean what they say about having a 4WD.

Review #16446065 Great Value With A View! Hot Tub, Wifi, Fire Pit, Sleeps 5. 4wd Or Awd Necessary The cabin was wonderful. Such a secluded setting in a wooded area with great mountain views. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect cabin in the woods. You do need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get from the highway to the cabin. It is a small but very comfortable cabin. The deck is big and overlooks the trees and mountains. The hot tub was on and ready. There was even a fire pit with firewood ready for a fire. We really enjoyed our stay even though the smoke from the wildfires kept us inside more than we liked. We look forward to returning to this cabin again.

Beautiful home and scenery. Host was very accommodating to our travel needs and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub underneath the Tennessee stars is unlike anything else. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this home for our friends and family in the future!
