The Toccoa river is best known for it's trout fishing but it also offers tubing, kayaking and once it winds it way to the Tennessee state line, it changes it's name to the world famous Ocoee River.  We have several options convenient to the Toccoa river with the most convenient options being The Bear's DenSimplicity and Two Bears Retreat.

Some folks plan to sit back and relax on their mountain trip. If you've booked a Blue Ridge cabin, you'll have plenty of opportunity to enjoy Mother Nature in her entirety. We suggest that you book at least 3 months in advance to ensure you get the cabin you want. Remember: we have cabins in both Tennessee and Georgia for your convenience. Everything you want or need is close to both of these neighboring states.

Whether you are just a casual mountain bike rider or a serious competitor, the mountains of north Georgia and SE Tennessee is where you need to be.  There are at least 3 mountain bike races at the Ocoee Whitewater Center alone.  The OWC is the home of the Cohutta 100 /Big Frog 65, Black Bear Rampage and even some SERC  events have been held there.  There are mild trails to intense trails, which ever you choose.  You can spend a weekend enjoying the great out doors in our little “slice of Heaven”.

If you don’t have your own mountain bike there are two reputable companies you can rent and ride the Tanasi Trail system.  Ocoee Adventure Center and Raft One offer mountain bike rentals as well as whitewater rafting trips on the Ocoee River (most visited river in the United States).  Mountain Escapes cabin rentals has 15-20 cabins within 15 minutes of the OWC, so come and spend some in the mountains with friend and family and enjoy nature.
