This is a great family adventure on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway starts at the historic depot in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. The train winds alongside the beautiful Toccoa River with one stop in the twin border towns of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee. You can shop in the area stores or dine in the local restaurants that both Blue Ridge and the twin cities have to offer. Once having a fun filled afternoon in the twin cities you can enjoy the ride back to the depot. Just keep in mind that Copperhill/McCaysville is just a 10-15 minute ride bck from Blue Ridge if you want to return and visit some shops or restaurants that you missed or revisit some shops that caught your attention. | |
